Had a tracker on my scoob and paid for a lifetime subscription-bought,stupidly,just before I decided to sell it.especially as I had a Clifford concept alarm fitted too.
When I bought the 335d, I wasn't asked by any insurance company about the need for a tracker.
I ended up with insurance through LV and for peace of mind,I fitted a Clifford blackjax in the first week of ownership.Again, not at the request of LV.
I keep on banging on about this system, but fitted properly it takes away the need for a tracker and is a real-world security system ie covers modern day offences of car jacking and mainline burglaries for your keys. The likelyhood of having your car thraped to death are non-existent as they won't get further than the end of your road-a safe distance to get out of the equation!
Just my observations mind!
