I actually don't recommend nice bits. You'll make them dull and useless. So buy the cheap multipacks and toss them when you're done.
You don't need to drop the exhaust completely, you can just disconnect most of the mounting points. But, dropping the rear section really isnt that hard if you have the right equipment.
An Angle drill is highly recommended for the rivets topside. And it should take you 30 minutes if you have all the proper tools.
