I understand what you say, I just don't like how Nissan is pushing/promoting this thing, that's all. If BMW was doing the same, I'd not like it either. Maybe I'm weird, don't know. Keep things simple. As you said too, it's not rocket science to learn to drive a manual if you want to. And you certainly don't need perfectly rev-matched downshifts in DD driving on the streets.
