I like the sound...can't really judge anything else. The E46 and E9X M3 has had one glaring weakness...fuel economy. Hopefully the F80 addresses that. Other than that, M3 has beaten the pants off of the competition in most respects.
Honestly, I like the idea of the next M3 being a V6...something different. Why buy the same car again? The essence of the M has evolved over the years. Let's hope it continues to evolve.
I hope the next 3 series improves the interior quality. The E9X just doesn't have the feel of quality and top notch fitment that the E46 had.
