Dealer had 1 (one) 2008 DCT on the lot and many 6MTs. He was willing to sell the DCT at $1K below MSRP but will take $500 over invoice for the 6MT which is $4.5K below MSRP. Considering the cost of DCT is $2.7K, the net difference between the two cars is $6.2K!
I wanted a DCT but the price difference with the 6MT is astounding. I am thinking of grabbing one of his 6MTs today and live with the "shifting-in-traffic" problem we all face here in LA.
BTW, I test drove the ISF and the 63 and agree with most here that the M3 is the better driver's car.
