I am about to pull the trigger, on the same wheel you got as a replacement, with the only exception my car has DCT. I just don't think the dealers will be willing to replace until it is probably falling apart, thoughts?

Keep in mind you're talking about 2 things
They replaced my trim because it was pealing, it was about the size of a thumbprint.
They only replaced my entire steering wheel because the guy who installed my replacement trim scratched the leather on my steering wheel.
So they had to replace that too, which is when i suggested the PSW
