Small world indeed. What is so interesting to me is there isn't any interest in hiding the real agenda. It seems the first thought is capture as much revenue as possible and the student/taxpayer is an afterthought. What a curious idea -- sending alternates to the trial to testify. How does that even work? Every time I consider that our society is too litigious, a case like this comes along and I think we clearly aren't litigious enough.....
