I have heard two versions, some people say that the wax gets sprayed on after final checking point before leaving factory, while the other word that I heard is that it gets sprayed on at VDC, Vehicle Distribution Centre. Which here in South Africa is about 400m from main factory. Here in SA we assemble Three sedan only... Once cars at VDC they wait for a special train strictly for Bmw that arrives into the yard and they drive them onto train and then go on train down to Durban harbour where they await shipping vessel. Rossyln Pretoria to Durban harbour, aprox 600km, similar as Los Angeles to San Fran!
