If you can follow directions its not hard. I went with LED's in all my past e9x's because the operating temps are so much lower.
HID's are bright, but often they are so bright there's light wash and the center ring on e92/93's becomes obscured.
The new AiB's from EAS and LUX H8's are very bright, have long life/warranty, operate cool, and hold their value for resale... thats what I call a win/win/win/win
