the only splices done was for the heated option. the seats comes with the conectors to the factory wiring hardness. Is not like the performance seats that come with plug and play hardness because they were made specifically for BMW and Recaro cannot offer plug and play with the Sportster CS for that reason. The seats have a button on the side of it to turn on and off the heating. I believe the performance seats work with the buttons in the car.
