I am a bit disappointed with the dry grip of the PSS as well. I ran them at an autocross and the grip felt on par with the stock PS2. Lots of wheel spin and lots of sideways action. Entertaining but not really great for lap times. It does have a stiffer sidewall and wider contact patch than the PS2. The PSS is just no match for Extreme performance tire grip.
