Sorry, first BMW with comfort access and the car I bought was missing the owner's manual.
Comfort Access: Lock and unlock by swiping or placing hand on the door handle. This also applies for the trunk.

The doors will not automatically lock with CA. There is an auto lock feature on the car. The setting is for when you unlock the car, but don't open the door, the car will then automatically lock back up in a period of time. This feature is useful for us OCD ppl who can't recall whether we accidentally pushed the unlock button.

there is also another auto lock feature where when the car start moving, all unlocked doors will automatically lock.
