Desperate for track time. Visited Google Earf to see if I was missing a road in the area (flat Michigan farm country) that has.. turns.
Spotted one ~30 mls north of me. Looked legit. Looked paved. Off I went.
Paved roads end en route. Channeling my inner Magellan whilst reminding myself that the M3 is “not an exotic” I forge ahead. Went from slightly disoriented to lost’er than hell. Finally find the twisty road, which is also not actually paved.
Hop out to take a couple of photos and then mud my way back home.
Worn RS3s are surprisingly good in the dirt and gravel. And you're not a real M3 driver until you've heard the sweet sounds of gravel "pinging" off of your Akrapovic.
I'm thinking about organizing a meet at the site of these pictures. Let me know if you're interested.
