All of the restaurants on here are good.
If you want something "LA" then I would suggest BOA on Sunset (not in Santa Monica) or Katsuya in Hollywood.
If you have a car I would suggest driving north up the coast on PCH and stoping to eat somewhere in Malibu - Gladstones, Dukes or MoonShadows. Weather is nice all weekend, it will make for an "only in LA" drive.
