I've done similar with modified HELP! spark plug anti-foulers that you can get at most auto part stores for $5 or so. Works fine with the cars I've done them to, however I'm not sure how much clearance there is on the E9X M3... if there room for the o2 sensor to extend out further without hitting the tunnel.
