It's not an additive; it's a different fluid. And A LOT more expensive one, so no dealer will use it unless the diff is chattering like a MoFo

Remind tech to put an oil film on oil cap to prevent gasket from bunching up, and causing a royal mess in there. I'd also tell SA to NOT drive the car, and to put 8-1/2L and give you the rest. Remember gauge doesn't throw a reading after about 15 miles, and I don't like anybody driving my car that long. With 8-1/2L, level will be fine. You can top it off 1/4L at a time by doing a reset in your garage (search to learn more). Good luck.
