I think this is the issue with mine but I am so busy with work and too lazy to fix this I just don't drive my M3 at night. Case solved. I drive my X5 at night. X5 is a lot nicer anyway. Stupid excuse but fact in my life.
I wanted to bump this for other owners awareness.
