Guys, I think all of this talk by dealers (in many cases large dealers in major metros) that "we will only get 5 cars in 2008" or in this case 15 cars is PURE BS. The numbers simply do not add up. A quick "back of the envelope calculation" shows us:

50000 cars/300 dealers/6 years ~ 30 cars/dealer/year.

This is for an "average" sized dealer. Sure there will be a lot of variation around this average number. Some of the smaller dealers in less populated states will likely only do < 5 or 10 M3s per year but for typical dealers these numbers are pure BS. I think they are underestimating (or perhaps lying outright) to make the supply seem low, hence demand high.
