so if any of you know imgs e90 and have heard it in person... well you know its loud enough to wake up 10 deaf sleeping babies miles apart from each other.... so this morning i took this lovely baby waking muffler off his hands (gintani race). called up a friend who owed me a favor and we went to work like rednecks installing the exhaust with some basic tools and a jack.
its really an easy process to do your self even with not much mechanical knowledge or skill, would have been nicer to have a lift handy though.
total time was about an hour, total weight savings is around 23lbs from stock
my initial review- well i already knew how it sounded. which is loud and obnoxious,
it drones like crazy under 2600 but quit ups a little bit after, still loud
is it for everyone? not at all
i love it though, well see how it holds up over time
now this might just be in my head but this along with the afe intake makes it feel like the airflow is alot better and the acceleration is alot smoother
