I have these tires on my E46M3 and I like them and they were $425 cheaper for the set than the Pilot Super Sports (after all rebates were taken into account - $60 on the Hankook and $70 on the PSS). The Hankooks got a great review in the C&D tire test of 2009.

I had the V12 last summer on the M3. They are good tire for the money but are not even close to the PSS in dry grip or steering response. The PSS grip MUCH stronger on acceleration and grip through corners notably better than the Hankooks. IMO, the Hankooks were a step below the PS2, although close, and the PS2 is a step below the PSS. But, with all of that said, the V12s are still a good value tire when you consider price but there is a reason they are $400 less than the PSS (and it isn't just brand premium).
