I recently took the plunge with the V1. I do a lot of highway driving and it seems like it is the best for that purpose. I also have a long trip coming up through PA and OH, so I wanted something along for the ride. Passport 9500ix would have been my second choice, but it seems like the general consensus on this forum is that it's best for city driving and red light camera alerts.

On my way to work this morning, I set it up to kinda test it out. There's a lot of falses, but the real alerts were a little late. If I were speeding, I'd have been toast. I got the alerts a half second before I saw them. What's the point of this thing then? The arrows are nice. I also had it on the "A" setting. I know there's a 30 day return policy. So, I'll keep testing it out and see how it performs.

A while back, the Passport 9500ix was on sale at BestBuy for ~$400. I wish I had picked one up and tried it out.
