I just finished installing the F10 shift knob with boot. I gotta give all the credit to my wife as she has a lot more patience than I do. She also took the stock boot off the base ring as that was a pain. She also trimmed and glued the boot to the stock base ring for me.

I would say the whole process took about an hour and a half spread throughout two nights. We used paper clips to clip the boot to the base before applying the glue. Again, huge thanks to her and to the forum for the DIY's. It went into place on the first try without any issues snapping back in. Onto the pictures.
