I've heard good things about both. I drove akashes AA kit in NY, and the car drove well.

Haven't driven a car with an ESS kit yet, and haven't driven one with a VF kit yet. Both are on my list to drive when I have time.

Personally I like the looks of the AA manifold the best, but ESS has quite a few kits out there in comparison to others.

I'd say you can't go wrong with either blower, pick which ever one has the most local support for you, best price point, and obviously matches your needs in terms of power.
