This is honestly your best overall option. Have him/her there to help you with them too.
But also keep in mind, what might be best for the business may not be what's necessary or best for you.
I know a professional who uses a 24-105mm F4as his personal every day lens, but uses a 24-70mm F2.8 expressly for his photoshoots and weddings.
He does this mainly because he doesn't want the extra weight and bulk when he doesn't have to use it. But at the same time gains image stabilization.
