That doesn't sound like a good idea for either one of you. He's likely to have handling degradation and you're going to have fitment issues. The 326M is a beautiful wheel and very much in demand in z4 circles so if you want new wheels you shouldn't have problems finding a buyer. This is a lose-lose-lose for you from a headache/financial/aesthetic perspective.
