I've been to the Ft Laud show a couple of times. I would recommend checking it out if it's convenient, but I wouldn't go to great lengths to get there. It's relatively small, without too many concept cars or interactive displays like you find at the major shows. It's mostly local dealers bringing samples of their inventory. (The fall show in Miami is by far the more significant show in South Florida.)
That being said, I'm definitely planning to go in hopes of spotting an M3.
Since they're arriving at dealers, I figure there's a good chance one will be there. Whether it will be unlocked is another matter.
