I agree the GT2 sounds great, but like you I'm a little concerned about the livability over time with very loud systems. *I think the Eisenmann and Akra both seem civilized enough for long term livability with the Eisenmann having the deeper tone. *
Would the Gintani fall into the GT2 category for you or the no Tylenol needed group

I've heard the Gintani before several times, but I've never driven IN one that had a Gintani exhaust, so I'm not sure actually. It's been a while since I've heard Gintani in person as well so I just didn't comment on it as I don't want to give bad information from what I remembered a while back.
