Pretty sure M-Sport is aesthetics only in the US (wheels, steering wheel, shifter, bumper, etc.). The suspension for the M-Sport will be the same as the ZSP 335i. I don't think that means we're shortchanged in the US -- I think the "regular" ZSP suspension in the US is the M-Sport suspension outside North America.
Anyway, to the original question -- if I were the one making the choice, I'd pick the M3, no question at all. That said, my advice to the OP is to get the 335i. Sounds like OP is into FI engine modding.
