BMW Has Not Put a Spare in M3's Since 1999

The E46 M3's were the first to appear without spare tires. I had a fairly direct (but fruitless) conversation about it with the BMWNA M brand manager at the time at a BMWCCA dinner in 2002 or 3. I don't remember his name, but he was a very arrogant guy. It's just like no dipsticks. BMW Germany has decided that's what they are going to do and that's it. Our choice is to not buy the cars if we don't like it.
