Of those documented tranny failures, a good number of them were replaced by warranty on cars that had modifications (including tune).
I have had zero tranny problems in my car and even when my car fell out of warranty and something broke with the stupid Smartkey ignition system, an $800 part, Nissan still picked up the bill.

I'm telling you it has not. I know someone that was effected by it. Also yes it was fixed like many others after a class action lawsuit. I'm happy yours never broke as Nissan might've have tried the same thing for you.
