I see what your talking about with the spoting, but honestly if your not on your knees looking directly into the AE's it would be damn near impossible to see. The AE's look different from every angle, let alone having uniform color.
Great product for those uncertain which color to go for! My AE's are right around 6000k, so they just have a hint of blue.

I've settled at 5200k. This morning i was taking some videos of the oem exhaust mod i finished up this weekend and i was having a friend do a couple pulls on the car. when the car was coming back towards me i could see the blue hot spots and i didnt like it.
i think its more noticeable at some angles/heights, however the car was coming down the street and i was standing on the curb and i noticed.
