On a loosely related note that turbo Ferarri weighs only 200 lbs less then the Lamborghini. It does not appear at all from how hard it pulled on it to be making identical power. Something seems off here.
I think the reason he ment the 458 need a good driver is the same reason why I beated a E92 M3 on the higway with my STI stage 2 , if the owner don't understand that the power of these cars is really up top, he wont put it in the right gear which could make him loose the race! With these kind of high reving engines , if you want put the luck on your side you need to put the car in the high RPM range as opposite to big torque engines where the middle rpm range is good enough!
