Carbon Fiber Mirror Covers vs. Stock Painted Covers

I'm thinking my next mod should be the Performance Carbon Fiber Mirror covers, but there is something about the look of the stock painted covers that I like. I have the carbon roof and getting the carbon covers makes sense, but I wonder if you lose some contrasting with the mirrors when you remove the painted covers (assuming you have a bright colored M3).
What's your take?
