Do you mind sharing which part of the liner is rubbing on the tire? Does it rub the liner on both left and right turns and how far to lock does it start rubbing?
A 265/35/19 has a OD of 26.3". That is 0.3" divided by 2 which is 0.15" on each side of the wheel (Top and Bottom)...seems like if the tire wears out alittle, the fit would be ok.
