I won't comment on the tranny switch since it's all about your preference but black cars are such PITA to keep clean, I think just for that it is worth it, plus the M3 looks really good in white with it's carbon fiber roof. There's a reason why so many are white, it's cause it is NICCCCE!!
Also I really hate 2 tones interiors unless it's suede/leather, you'll love your FR garanteed!
