Frankly, I'm not even sure why dealer will replace a bulb for you in warranty. But I guess it's a customer relations thing...it cost them virturally nothing to provide the replacement for you. A bulb can be considered a wear and tear item. |
I agree, a wear item indeed. But I think the first gen bulbs had an abnormally short life so maybe it was a customers relation thing to replace it. Then again, they also replace the battery in your key thob if it is dying!!
