Not quite. It has to do with the fact that with a positive displacement like the Roots/Lysholm, you have the throttle body *before* the compressor. This is impossible with the ITBs.
However, it can be done by removing the ITBs and adding a single big "main" TB to the kit before the compressor. ESS created this for the E46 M3, however, it induces a response lag that did not meet their drivability standards and so the project was scrapped. It did make silly power though!
