HAMANN has just released a tuning package for the V8-powered BMW M3 Coupe E92 that incorporates a series of mechanical and comsetic upgrades. While most of us would be easily satisfied with the standard M3’s 420 Hp, HAMANN saw it fit to offer two different engine kits.

The first tuning package increases the 4.0-liter V8’s output to 435 Hp and delivers an additional 25 Nm of torque (series: 400 Nm) on the crank shaft. With the removal of the speed limiter, the M3 can go up to a top speed of 300 km/h or 187 mph.

The second kit called Sportkit HM/M +35 rises output to 455 Hp and toque to 448 Nm. In this case, the M3’s speedometer doesn’t stop until it reaches 320 km/h or 199 mph. The German tuning firm also offers a fully adjustable sports suspension along with a sport braking system that includes perforated and internally ventilated brake discs measuring 405 x 34 mm (front) and 380 x 28 mm (rear) that are “sandwiched” by the front six- and back four-piston system.
