Make a police report, if applicable, regardless of which country you are in and make sure to have a valid International Drivers License, for countries like Austria. Depending on the damage done to the vehicle, the car will either get fixed before it is shipped back to make it road worthy. Or in the case of aesthetic damage, get shipped back, repaired by whichever shop your dealer uses. And the claim will be sent back to Allianz, and re-imbursement will come... slowly.
Keep all your info together, and when you get the insurance for your ED don't keep it in the vehicle just in case. They will explain it all to you.
