Well . . . ; -) Actually Custer played a very important role at Gettysburg that few people know about - he held up JEB Stuart's superior force from reaching the rear of Union lines at the same time Pickett was assulting them from the front. He played the terrain perfectly.

I remember that, I think. Wasn't he disobeying orders at the time?
