Since I was one of those few who bought the DF prior to the 231E upgrade, here are my options:
-Go to the dealer to get the updated software and then resend my file back to ESS for the updated tune
-Send the ECU to ESS for the update to 231E
-Or pay $295 to get the Eflash setup
I hope this clears up some confusion for the people who has the ESS Tune.

For those of us who have the ESS tune but using the Direct Flash, If we buy/upgrade the E-flash setup can ESS send us the 231E software update without any other further charges (other than the $295 for the E-flash)?
