I suggest getting a E60 M5, the E90 would be too small for teenagers.
It was also affected by the rising gas prices a couple years back. I routinely averaged around 10MPG in my M5. I took a bath when I traded it in after only having it a few years. I'm waiting this time around to see what happens with the new one, I predict they'll drop hard after the initial excitement is over and there are plenty out there. They also refused to CPO the last M5's which hurt resale.
