I said it before I'll say it again this is a cool idea for someone young, but the money factor is probably the only thing that is going to stop you I mean yeah you need 100k for the m3 you had in mind, but then you need a shop, tools, machines, workers, and other cars to work on. It's an expensive business to get into probably run you well over a million. If I were you and was serious I'd go to like custom car shops that are successful and ask how they got started but thats just my .02.
