To be fact if you haven't bought the wheels yet, why would you go with just a 8.5" wide front wheel?

Dave
That's the size the front wheels come in, as long as I can fit 255 in the front it's fine.

There is a 245/30/20 available if you're comfortable running a tire with a load rating that much lower than OEM. I decided not to go in that direction and instead got PS2s in 255/30/20 and 305/25/20.

FYI, I used to have Vreds in 255/30/20 and 285/30/20 with no fitment issues. I wouldn't run 285/25/20. Load rating is way too low and significantly smaller in diameter than OEM.
I would love to fit a 305 if I could but I don't think that's possible with a 10" rear wheel. What size are your wheels and offsets if you don't mind me asking?

I will probably go for the 255/30 and 285/30 set up with another tire brand, I would love the PSS but not possible with the 255.
