I had Brembo GT 380mm all around, and now I have Alcon 355mm all around (Alcon Advantage Extreme).
For the Brembos I was running the Brembo pads that came with the set, and was on ZCP wheels with 245/265 PSS.
For the Alcon I am running Ferodo DS2500, and am on Rays RE30 Clubsport, 18x9.5/18x11; 265/285 PSS.
The Brembo had very linear braking power. Felt like the kit was well made and matched the car very well. Perhaps the pads were good for the street, but upon spirited driving the car didn't stop as well after 10-15 min.
The Alcon, once warmed up, had a more aggressive bite than Brembo. It's not as aggressive as AP, so it's in between Brembo and AP, which is perfect. You can run it harder than the Brembos and they don't feel that they will fade as quickly.
I believe it's down to the pad you use and the brand you like. I've had pleasant experience with both brands.
