ZSG might be a tad faster, but I'm willing to compromise a bit for more control and I love being fully involved in the driving experience. I don't have the time to develop into an F1 driver anyway, so I'm not going to be able to fully utilize the (marginal to me) advantage of ZSG.

And there's NO WAY ZSG owners will be anything other than guinea pigs for BMW. "Software" is not thier name, just motor. It took BMW forever to iron out software in the E60/E63 ///Ms, and SMG wasn't even new!
