This I why I recommended the Mini Cooper battery as a viable alternative. (in doba's lightweight battery thread)
After being constantly frustrated by the lackluster performance of these tiny racing batteries, I finally decided to buy a more appropriately sized lightweight battery for my M3. 
It was a pain in the ass to constantly need a jump start because my battery was DOA.
With this smaller Mini Cooper battery, there are NO starting issues, and NO lost program settings. |
