I love and have always loved the clutch on the M3 from day one. I find it very light and easy to modulate. The shifter seemed a bit rubbery in its movements when new, but that has gotten a lot better over my 14 months of ownership. I have no complaints whatsoever at this point. The lightness of both the clutch and shifter make fast shifts very easy, and I have no trouble finding the gears.
