I also have looked the the Hankook TD's which is aimed directly at the Nitto NT-01. A more serious RS3. Should have better traction, somewhat more expensive ( $340 vs $270 a tire), but not as long as a life.
I may drive like an old lady, but I can get 12 -14 days out of a set of NT-01's.
I will need replacement tires for my NT-01's somewhere mid summer....
