This is a bit of a long shot but here goes..
I found my old-ass copies of Fallout 1 and 2 recently. It was a welcome blast from the past, so of course I tried to install them on windows 7, but when running the game the color palette is all messed up. Tried compatibility modes, running in 256 colors, downloading weird "patches" from online, etc. Nothing will work. The videos have wonky colors and the menus and game screen black out and don't get revealed til you mouse over each part, then black out again. Anyone know of a way to fix this?
Also, just a general Fallout 1 and 2 appreciation thread. Best games ever
